How it works

How TechGig actually works.

Five steps from "the printer is on fire" to "the bill is paid". No fluff, no SaaS-speak. If the description below leaves you with questions, the AI deep-dive lower on the page will answer them.

The product tour

Five steps. One bill at the end.

Scroll to step through. Each step is what actually happens, not a sales metaphor.

  1. Step 1

    Request

A user reports an issue in plain English, right in the portal chat. No ticket templates, no required fields, no jargon.

Got it. Pulling your session logs...
  2. Step 2

    AI triage

The AI classifies the issue, attempts to resolve it for routine work, and dispatches to a tech when it cannot. Our design target is for forty to sixty percent of tickets to end here.

    Confidence: 0.92

    Action: guided MTU fix

  3. Step 3

    Specialist dispatch

For tickets the AI does not close, the ticket routes to the right specialist for the job. No round-robin queue, no whoever-picks-it-up roulette.

  4. Step 4

    Resolution

The tech resolves remotely or on-site. Time is tracked, work is logged, parts are quoted before they are ordered. The customer sees every step.

  5. Step 5

    Settlement

The customer pays per ticket or it draws down their plan. The tech gets paid weekly via Stripe. No 30-day net, no MSP collections cycle.

The AI, specifically

What the AI actually does. And what it does not.

We do not lead with the word "AI" in the headline because every SaaS site does that and nobody believes it anymore. Here is what the layer actually handles.

  1. Classification

The AI reads the issue, works out what kind of problem it is, and decides whether it can resolve it safely. When it is not sure, it routes to a human without trying to fix anything first.

  2. Routine resolution

For high-confidence routine work - walking a user through a password reset, MFA enrollment, or reconnecting a printer - the AI handles the whole exchange in chat. The user gets a transcript, and the ticket closes without a tech ever being dispatched.

  3. Escalation logic

The AI does not try twice. If a user says "still happening" or the diagnostic fails, the ticket flips to a human queue with the full context the AI gathered. No "let me check that one more thing" stalls.

The marketplace, specifically

How the tech side actually runs.

Marketplaces work or they do not. Here is what keeps this one working at the customer and tech layers.

Routed to the right specialist

Tickets go to a tech who actually does that kind of work. A printer driver issue routes to someone who has fixed plenty of them, not to whoever is geographically nearest.

Availability windows

Techs set their own coverage hours by day, by region, by ticket type. Dispatch respects the window - no "are you sure you cannot grab one more" notifications outside your set hours.

Dispute resolution

If a customer disputes a fix, the payout is held while we review the full ticket history and transcript. The decision comes from the logged work, not from whoever pushed back hardest.

Customer setup

From "tell me more" to "first ticket cleared".

No 90-day onboarding. No discovery-call roadshow. Setup is self-serve, built so you can go from signup to first ticket the same day.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Sign up in the browser with the basics: company name, team size, the systems you run. No discovery call, no sales rep, no calendar dance.

  2. 02

Pick how you want to pay

Add a payment method and choose pay-per-ticket, a credit pack, or a monthly plan. You can switch later from the dashboard, so the first choice is not a commitment.

  3. 03

    Invite your team

Add the people who can open tickets. Everyone gets the same portal and the same AI chat, and you keep visibility on every ticket and every credit spent.

  4. 04

    Open your first ticket

Describe the problem in chat. The AI works it first, free. If it takes a human, you see the credit cost and approve it before a vetted tech touches anything.

Both doors open

You read the whole thing. Now use it.

Pick the side of the marketplace you live on.

Try the AI free, no credit card. Human help is pay-per-fix, no contracts.
